About
The Builder
Mike
Foote entered the development industry in 1973 as an
assistant division manager in charge of commercial and
multi-family housing properties with a major Southern
California Homebuilder.
After five years of “hands on” experience,
Mike formed his own company, Foote Development Company
in San Diego, California. Over the ensuing years he
earned a reputation as an innovative general contractor
and real estate developer. The company now has over
three decades of experience in real estate and construction
and approximately 1500 homes to its credit in CA and
OR as well as the Historic Landmark, the Mission Brewery
Plaza in San Diego.

In
1995, while vacationing in Oregon, Mike was advised
of a need for reasonably priced housing in Eugene by
a couple of friends with whom he attended Oregon State
University. After reviewing many properties during the
next several months, Mike selected the Avalon Village
site, moved his family to Eugene and then hired local
employees and sub contractors to assist with bringing
the vision to fruition. |

Since
1977, Mike has provided a full spectrum of housing including
single-family homes, town homes, condominiums and apartments.
Prior to embarking on each project, an in-depth market
analysis is made. The result is a neighborhood development
that adds value to the surrounding area and matures
to compliment the community. Avalon Village is an example
of this meticulous planning. Foote customers benefit
from people-driven designs that originate from the consumer’s
point of view and are built to last for future generations.
